Meet The Staff
MABEL LOPEZ, Office Manager Mabel earned her Bachelors in Microbiology and clinical lab from Mayor College of Antioquia, in Medellin, Colombia. She enjoyed her studies and the profession, but after she had her 2 children, she realized it involved too many hours of work so she left the profession, in order to spend more time raising a family with her husband, Edgard. As the children grew, she sought “temporary” employment at Family Health and Wellness Center of Pembroke Pines as a receptionist. That was about 10 years ago. Now she is the designated “back bone” and Team Leader for Dr. Hodish and The Center. As if the challenges above weren’t enough, Mabel returned to Broward Community College and in December 2006 she received her Associate Degree in Health Information Management, and plans to continue…... Of course, Mabel still makes time to support and cheer her two children: Rebekah and Simon. Both children are currently attending FSU.
Jenny Carrera, Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant Jenny is currently attending Miami-Dade College. She is majoring in Medical Diagnostic Sonography. Her plan is to graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Science. Jenny started to work for Life Chiropractic in August, 2010. She states that she has gained extensive amount of encouragement since she started to work for Dr. Hodish. She also enjoys working with her supervisor Mabel Lopez. Only being 20 years of age, Jenny has been through rough times. At the age of 18, she was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Even with this disease, she has been feeling great, especially now, since she has been receiving regular specific chiropractic adjustments. She won’t let this dis-ease take over her life, and is confident that her body is a self healing organism. She is surrounded by family and friends that encourage her for the best. Her main focus is finishing school, her family, and most of all her health. She has faith in God and knows that He will protect her and guide her on the right path to healing and success in life. Jenny cares for all the patients that come in the office. She is a warm hearted human being who truly cares for others. Jenny is a terrific inspiration to all who get to know her!
AMANDA PASQUALIN, Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant Amanda is currently the newest addition to the staff at Life Chiropractic & Family Health and Wellness Center of Pembroke Pines, as a receptionist, and chiropractic assistant. She is currently attending Florida International University, going on her third year, with the intentions to double-major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She felt as though this was the perfect job to match her school schedule and to learn about her interests outside of her field. She intends on being part of the team for a very long time and enjoys interacting with all the patients!
